The Chicago Cubs entered extra innings with just two hits, but Javier Baez launched a two-run homer in the 10th and Craig Kimbrel shut the door in the bottom of the frame to down the rival St. Louis Cardinals, 2-1. Chicago now trails St. Louis by just two games in the National League Central division.
