The Washington Nationals improved to 3-4 with a 6-4 victory over the Blue Jays. Hyun-Jin Ryu gave up five runs on nine hits which dropped Toronto to 3-4 on the year. In the loss, Teoscar Hernandez hit two more home runs, sitting with four on the season now. During the game, home plate umpire was injured and was bleeding from his ear.
